The Guyana-China Business Council is inviting applications from persons interested in pursuing two fully sponsored courses to be held in China.
According to a press release the first course, ‘Radio Broadcasting Techniques for Developing Countries’ is from July 17 to August 30, 2013. The second, ‘Environmentally Friendly Fertilizer Production’ – application and demonstrations will be held from October 15 to November 25, 2013.
Written applications must be submitted to the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association Secretariat at 157 Waterloo Street, South Cummingsburg before Friday May 17 for evaluation and selection by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Guyana. Every application must include the applicant’s basic bio-data such as date of birth and contact data including telephone numbers and email addresses. Officials have advised that applicants must have some knowledge and experience in the respective field and should be no older than 45 years, the Council said.
The Council also requires that persons who have already indicated their interest to submit formal applications with the relevant information before the closing date. These courses and others that include television broadcasting techniques are conducted annually in China. They form part of the Chinese government’s programme to contribute to the development of countries in the Caribbean and elsewhere in the Third World, the release said.
