GINA says that the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) yesterday issued a release advising customers of Cummings Lodge, Lilien-daal, Turkeyen and A and E Fields Sophia that their water service will be interrupted with effect from yesterday to May 12.
The disruption, the water company said, is necessary to facilitate urgent maintenance at the Cummings Lodge Well Station. GWI urged affected customers to make all necessary preparations including storing of water.
