A mother’s smile A mother’s smile: Ansa McAl Cheekies Brand Representative Joel Lee on Sunday presented hampers to mothers who gave birth on Mother’s Day, continuing its 14-year tradition. According to a press release, recipients of hampers included Nichola Henry of Friendship, East Coast Demerara (ECD) who gave birth to her first baby, a girl, and Cassey Griffith of Church Street, Georgetown, who gave birth to her first baby, a boy. Also receiving hampers were: Momattie Ramsaroop of Supply, ECD gave birth to her second baby, a girl; Shanice Harvey of Norton Street, Lodge, gave birth to her first baby, a boy; Philisha Singh of Lusignan gave birth to her second baby, a boy; Stacy Durrowes of Sukhai Street, Better Hope, gave birth to her first baby, a girl and Shavon Tull of Cummings Street, gave birth to her second baby, a boy.
The release said the mothers of the first boy and girl born at the Georgetown Public Hospital were presented with large hampers containing 120 diapers, while the others received hampers containing 80 Cheekies Cloth Soft diapers.
