$78M lottery prize claimed

Three days before the expiration of the deadline, the winner of the $78M lottery yesterday submitted the winning ticket to the Guyana Lottery Company.
The lotto company yesterday stated in an advertisement that the monies had been claimed and informed that details pertaining to the win will be announced.
The $78M ticket was sold in Linden in February. Given that Friday, 17th May would have been the deadline to claim the winnings, the company had been appealing to the public to check old tickets.
