Albouystown ‘B’ compliments of Melvyn Ross brace on either side of half time blanked Rasville ‘A’ 3-0 as action in the Mackeson ‘Keep your five Alive’ football tourney continued at the East Ruimveldt Community Centre Ground (California Square) on Thursday.
Opening his account in the fifth minute, Ross would eventually complete his double through a 18th minute effort. Shaka Jones would etch his name on the scorer’s sheet in the thirteenth minute to complete the lopsided encounter.
Sparta Boss led by a Dennis Edwards first half double in the first and seventh minutes crushed Turkeyen 3-0. Devon Millington would add to Sparta Boss’s tally through a sixth minute effort.
West Front Road through a Wendell Pedro 11th minute strike edged Castillo 1-0 whilst Berlin upset Back Circle 1-0 compliments of a Sherwyn Cadogan sixth minute conversion.
Festival City needled Leopold Street ‘B’ 2-1 on penalty kicks as regulation time was unable to separate the two sides at nil-all and Broad Street ‘B’ defeated Vryheid Lust Champs 3-1 on penalties after both units were unable to find the back of the net during normal time.
