The African Cultural and Devekopment Association (ACDA) in collaboration with the Coalition of the 1823 Parade Ground Monument will tomorrow host Kreole Day at Parade Ground, Middle Street.
According to a press release from ACDA, the event celebrates the 201st anniversary of Georgetown, which was established in May 1812.
The event which starts at noon, is advertised as a sober celebration of the humanity of Georgetown from its bith to today. It invites seamstresses, artisans and others to a “celebration of you” and promises that a range of food, beverages, novelties, craft, art and cultural industries will be on display along with storytellers, musicians and dramatists.
