Dear Editor,
Guyana has certainly found itself in an extraordinary situation where the PPP government was notified since May 2011 that it needs to make certain amendments to the money laundering Bill but the Minister of Legal Affairs and the Minister of Finance only woke up in April 2013.
While these two Ministers are bogged down in the studios of NCN as they try to explain away how they are mismanaging this country, the people’s work is not being done.
The people are suffering from this PPP maladministration. Today’s estimate shows unemployment is now at 19%. There are more people out of work now than since 1964.
What is Messrs Nandlall and Singh’s excuse today?
Yours faithfully,
Asquith Rose
Harish S Singh
