West Front Road needled Broad Street ‘A’ 4-3 on sudden death kicks as action in the Mackeson ‘Keep Your Five Alive’ street football tourney continued at the Punt Trench and School Street Hardcourt, Albouystown on Saturday.
Rondel Granger gave West Front Road the early lead compliments of a first minute conversion but Broad Street ‘A’ would quickly equalise in the third minute through a Rocky Gravesande strike.
Broad Street would eventually take the lead three minutes later through a Keron Soloman sixth minute effort. Not to be outdone, Hubert Pedro would level proceedings in the 10th minute for West Front Road.
Home side Albouystown ‘B’ compliments of a Devon Forde second minute strike edged Wolves 1-0 whilst Sparta Boss through goals from Devon Millington and Denis Edwards in the second and 12th minutes respectively defeated Liliendaal 2-0.
Riverview overcame Berlin one goal to nil through an Andrew Downing second minute effort while Alexander Village propelled by a Leon Yaw seventh minute goal surmounted Broad Street ‘B’ 1-0.
Festival City, led by goals from Odel Williams and Paul Bobb in the 12th and 17th minutes correspondingly trounced Laing Avenue 2-0.
