The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation yesterday received seven tenders for dietary supplies for its patients.
GPHC had made it a policy two years ago that visitors should not bring food to patients especially those on prescribed diets such as diabetics and those with hypertension as their trained dieticians would prepare meals to cater for these needs.
The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday opened bids for this and other contracts.
