(Jamaica Gleaner) Ganja with an estimated street value of J$3.8 million has been seized by the police.
The police are reporting that approximately 767lbs of ganja, with an estimated street value of J$3.8 million was seized on Thursday.
The seizure was made along the Rock main road, in the vicinity of the Falmouth Bypass in Trelawny.
Reports are that about 6:45 p.m., a cesspool truck was intercepted and searched.
Three buckets and 20 knitted bags containing ganja were found in a hidden compartment of the truck.
Three men were taken into custody in connection with the find.
Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
