Dear Editor,
On behalf of myself and all Berbicians, especially on the Corentyne, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Mr Bobby Ramroop for giving us Radio Guyana Inc 89.5FM. This 24-hour music radio station makes our day, from the time we wake up in the morning to go to work, until we retire to bed in the evening.
And we love the mix of music they play, especially the Indian oldies. I remembered the days in the seventies and eighties when we in the Corentyne were fortunate to listen to Radio Rani, a 24-hour music radio station from Suriname, and when it ceased broadcasting in the nineties we longed for our own music station, which is why we were elated when RGI 89.5 FM was launched.
I do not care what people might say about Mr Bobby Ramroop , but all I can say is that he has done well with this radio station and for that I say thanks, and keep up the good work.
