The Guyana Draughts Association, Trophy Stall sponsored draughts competition is set to take place this weekend at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue from 10:00hrs.
On Saturday, the ‘B’ players will compete with the top six qualifiers earning the right to compete against the `A’ class players in the final showdown on Sunday. All games will be played on the standard 64- square boards.
All clubs and individual players are invited to participate. Registration starts at 9:00hrs and entrance per player is $300.
