Alliance for Change Leader Khemraj Ramjattan yesterday confirmed that he had met with President Donald Ramotar in a meeting which he requested.
It is uncertain what was discussed during yesterday’s meeting which came just one day after Ramotar held a similar with A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) leader David Granger.
Granger had said that the purpose of Wednesday’s meeting had been to discuss ways to avoid future gridlock and to develop a conflict-free approach to governance.
“We discussed the long-term development of the country and the role of the various political parties…,” Granger said after the meeting.
