After three weeks of intense ball weaving rivalry, three of the 48 teams kept their five alive and will vie for the $300,000 first prize and the winner’s trophy of the Mackeson ‘Keep Your Five Alive’ Futsal tournament tonight at the Cliff Anderson Sport Hall (CASH) tarmac.
Festival City, West Front Road and Sparta Boss are the teams in contention for top honours.
Sparta Boss, the only team to win all their games via regulation goals, is heavily favoured to win tonight’s final which format will be decided among the teams and organizers.
Tournament Coordinator, Kevin Adonis said yesterday that all systems are in place for tonight’s grand finale. Adonis also stated that the word in the streets is to defeat Sparta Boss by locking down the rampant duo of Dennis Edwards and Devon Millington.
Who will be Keep Their Five Alive and pocket the first prize? The answer will be known tonight at the CASH.
