Police yesterday destroyed a half-acre ganja field at Ann’s Grove Backdam, East Coast Demerara but no arrest was made.
According to a press release during the eradication operation which occurred around 1000 hours, approximately 60 cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants, ranging in height from one foot to six feet, were found and destroyed.
