The Ministry of Education last evening said that it will be announcing the results of the 2013 National Grade Six Examinations today in keeping with the Education Minister’s commitment that the results will be out earlier than normal.
A release from GINA said that a total of 17,000 students wrote the NGSA.
GINA noted that in April, Education Minister Priya Manickchand along with the Director of the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD) Jennifer Cumberbatch and other Ministry officials had checked on the progress of the marking of NGSA scripts during a visit to the Police Officers’ Mess where the process was ongoing. There she told the media that, “We intend to make early results a feature of the Ministry.”
