Police today said that 11 men have been held over the murder of Brazilian national Maria Jose Assis Bazerra,47 years.
Further to press release made yesterday, police said that the incident occurred at Tiger Creek Backdam, Mahdia and not Jumbie Backdam as was stated.
Police said that the body was found in a mining camp with suspected stab wounds to her head. Eleven men are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
