The stage is set for the resumption of play in the 9th edition of the Linden Secondary Schools U-19 Basketball Championships with a double header slated to commence at 2.30 pm at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Hardcourt on Monday.
The tournament which has five remaining playing dates had been temporarily suspended due to the inclement weather and the prevailing CSEC examinations.
In the opening game New Silvercity Secondary will take on Linden Foundation Secondary while at 4:00 pm Mackenzie High School will oppose the defending champions Linden Technical Institute (LTI).
On Wednesday, June 19th another double header will be hosted at the same venue. In the opening game at 2.30 pm, Linden Foundation Secondary will play Wisburg Secondary whilst Christianburg/Wismar Secondary will face off with New Silvercity Secondary at 4:00pm.
On Friday 21st also at the MSC Hardcourt, New Silvercity Secondary and Mackenzie High will face off at 2.30 pm and in the final game of the preliminary round, Christianburg/Wismar Secondary will challenge Wisburg Secondary at 4:00pm.
The semifinals are programmed to commence on Wednesday, June 26th at the MSC Hardcourt while the finals and third place match-ups will be played on Friday, June 28th at the same venue.
