Clonbrook Primary Girls won their first wind ball cricket title when they defeated Gibson Primary in the final of the Upper East Coast Zone of the MCYS/NSC AL Sport and Tour Promotions 16th End-of-School year tournament at the Unity/Lancaster Community Centre ground recently.
Sent in to bat, Gibson Primary scored 53-4 from their allotted five overs with Geeta Boodram top scoring with 10 runs. Sonie Malgie picked up three wickets. Clonbrook, in reply, scored 54-1 with Adel Barry scoring 22 runs and Malgie contributing 15 runs.
