Dear Editor,
We read with great interest the exhortation by the Head of State to ranks of the police force, viz, that they must not be bought ‒ very, very commendable. But if he wishes to obtain some credibility and the trust of the majority of decent people in Guyana, he should start with the big ones, some known to the police, and who ought to be known to the President, but are untouchable.
They say action speaks louder than words.
Yours faithfully,
Hamilton Green, JP
