Ryan Henry, the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) employee, who was burned while working on a utility pole at Parika last Tuesday, had another part of his left hand amputated on Sunday evening.
Henry is said to be in a stable condition at the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the institution hospital, sources said yesterday. On Friday evening, a part of his hand was amputated. Henry’s mother had told Stabroek News that her son would be greatly affected if his hand were amputated because he was a very active person.
