Soca duo Jumo Primo and Adrian Dutchin are out to prove that their partnership X2 is stronger than ever.
During a pop-in visit to The Scene they revealed their new releases are set to blaze the July/August entertainment season.
The 2013 Soca Monarch Jumo and Road March King Adrian have put together “Bubble and Wine” featuring Kiprich of Jamaica. That particular track was produced by Island Traffic Records in Grenada and was released just last week.
DJs are asked to contact Kross Kolor Records at 226-6273 for copies of the song. The local recording company will also be compiling a soca album of all its soca artistes, particularly finalists in the Soca Monarch competition, but this is not to overshadow X2’s street CD which features new songs from the dynamic duo.
Jumo and Adrian have also sealed a deal with Hits and Jams Entertainment for making their soon to released song, “In the Zone”, the official theme song of Jamzone 2013. The song features Fojo and members of the public are invited to the video shoot.
But to show how strong the music industry can be once united, the two will be joining forces with various artistes from the region and Guyana, including Jory and Kwasi Ace, who will be releasing a feature collaboration soon. They will also be partnering with the Heatwave Band to launch the enterprise in New York for the Guyanese abroad.
Jumo said their strong collaboration would lay to rest “any doubts X2 fans had… We are still here and we are together working even harder,” he added.
