Patrick Nelson was crowned the Ministry of Home Affairs’ 2013 Caricom Domino Champion when the entity held its tournament on Thursday, June 28th at the Ministry’s location, 6 Brickdam, Georgetown.
Capitalizing on the first round exit of defending champion Khain Singh of the Liaison Officers Unit, Nelson defeated Junior Maynard of the Stray Catching Unit and Carl Ageday of the Finance Section in the final round to be crowned the champion.
The event which was sponsored by former member of the Guyana Fire Service Dexter Lawrence attracted a large pool of players from various divisions inclusive of the Administrative Section, Finance Section, Immigration Section, Liaison Officer’s Unit and the Drivers Pool.
