Jayadev Mana opened the scoring for the Camp Road side through a ninth- minute strike to the lower left hand corner of the goal from within the left side of the 18th yard area. Andre Trotz would level proceedings for Christ Church with a 19th-minute effort.
Trotz upon receiving the ball outside of the QC penalty area cheekily flicked it over the final on-rushing defender before placing his strike to the lower left hand side of the goal.
Christ Church would take the lead for the first time in the encounter one minute later as Trotz completed his double with a solo run and finish right down the middle of the goal.
The lead would eventually grow to two goals as Trotz capped off a fine first half showing as he completed his hat trick with a 34th minute effort unmarked within the six-yard area.
Down two goals, the Camp Road side would pull one back in the 46th minute compliments of an Aftab Crandon conversion from the right side of the field.
The comeback would be completed in the 61st minute with Nathan Patterson etching his name on the scorer’s sheet.
Latching onto a poorly-cleared corner kick by the Christ Church defence, Patterson from just outside the middle of the 18-yard area would unleash a powerful right-footed strike that evaded everyone in the crowded area and nestled in the lower left hand corner of the goal.
