Defending National Digicel Champions, Wismar-Christianburg Secondary retained their regional title as they hammered Kwakwani Secondary by a 6-1 score line on Sunday.
Marmalque Davison began the rout at the Wisburg Secondary Ground, Linden for the Linden side with a goal in the 17th second of play. The Linden side would double their advantage in the eighth minute through a Shane Lacquie strike.
Lacquie would complete his brace with an 18th-minute conversion. The defending national champs would end the half with a four-goal advantage as Loquan Hercules etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 44th minute.
Nigel Caesar would complete the lopsided encounter with a second half brace in the 75th and 84th minutes respectively. Kwakwani would find a consolation goal in the 72nd minute through a Kurt Simeon strike.
Wismar-Christianburg Secondary’s next game in the Digicel U18 Secondary Schools is slated to be played on the 17th of July at a venue to be announced.
