PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC– English umpire Nigel Llong and his Trinidadian counterpart Peter Nero will officiate the Grand Final of the Celkon Mobile Cup Series between India and Sri Lanka at the Queen’s Park oval here today
The West Indies Cricket Board yesterday announced that Llong will accompany Nero to the middle, with Joel Wilson, another umpire from Trinidad & Tobago, to handle TV Replay duties and Nigel Duguid of Guyana as the reserve umpire.
Former Australia batsman David Boon will replace former New Zealand captain Jeff Crowe in the post of Match Referee for the game.
India booked a place in the final with a 51 run win over Sri Lanka in a rain-hit match on Tuesday.
