Bids were opened on Tuesday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) for major infrastructural work at Zeeburg, West Coast Demerara and Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo and other projects.
For the supply and delivery of rations, janitorial supplies and bread for President’s College, there were several bidders. With the procuring entity being the Ministry of Education and the project divided into three lots, the companies and their respective bids are listed below.
Supply and delivery of Dietary Supplies for the Essequibo Technical Institute Dormitory.
Supply and Delivery of photocopy machine and risograph- The National Library, Office of the Minister, TVET Council, CPCE Department of Education and University of Guyana Berbice Campus.
Under the Ministry of Housing and Water bids were also opened for infrastructural developments at Zeeburg on the West Coast of Demerara and Zeelugt on the East Bank of Essequibo.
Zeelugt was divided into three lots.
Meanwhile under the Transport and Harbours Department a lone bid was opened for the docking and repairs of the M.V. Makouria.
Also in the Transport and Harbours Department bids were opened for the acquisition and supply of spares for vessels.
