Joseph Williams, 27, called “Joey” of 59 Gordon Street, Kitty was this morning remanded to prison after being arraigned for the murder of Victor Da Silva.
The charge states that on July 8 at Water Street, Kingston, Williams murdered Da Silva in the furtherance of a robbery in that he stole $8M, property of Cecil Gajadhar.
The unrepresented man was informed by Magistrate Fabayo Azore before whom he appeared that he will be remanded to prison.
The case will be called again on July 18.
