A man, believed to be homeless, was last evening the victim of a hit and run on Homestretch Avenue.
“I was coming in the opposite direction east when I saw the man on the other side walking towards the Cultural Centre… a yellow wagon was speeding behind him and before you know it he just pick he off he foot and bam!,” an eyewitness last evening related to Stabroek News. “When I think the car would stop, he just drive away, beat the light at the Cultural Centre and go like into South,” she added.
