Women lawyers visit NA: Members of the Guyana Association of Women Lawyers recently visited the female prison in New Amsterdam during which they donated hampers of needed items to the inmates. The women lawyers also conducted an outreach in the New Amsterdam market area and distributed booklets with information on the Guyana Legal Aid Clinic. They also offered on-the-spot free legal advice.
