In a letter appearing in our edition of Saturday, July 13, 2013 captioned ‘Paddy prices paid to farmers are not the same as last year’ there was a typographical error in one of the figures quoted. The prices farmers are receiving for their paddy this year should have read, “$2200, $3300 and $3500 per bag,” not $4200, $3300 and $3500 per bag as was incorrectly stated.
