Dart players will be vying for cash prizes on Friday evening when the Guyana Darts Association hosts a tournament at the Malteenoes Sports Club.
The tournament will feature former national champion Norman Mahdoo and will see three games being played: Women’s Singles, Men’s Singles and Luck-of-Draw. Two weeks ago, Canada-based Mahdoo won the Open Singles after defeating Luis Ramirez-Merlano, Anthony Bissoondyal, Anil Lachman and Colin France.
Mahdoo, playing in the Luck-of-Draw, led his partner Ramirez-Merlano to a 3/1 victory against Jamal Holligan and Sherwyn Greene in the final.
Friday’s match will start at 7pm.
