Dear Editor,
At the time of writing enquiries about the incumbents of the post of Regional Executive Officer and their respective competency profiles have not yet elicited a formal response. It is in fact ludicrous that Members of Parliament have no ready reference to such information, and have traditionally been excluded from the selection and recruitment of one of the most influential functionaries in the Public Service, but which post remains unlisted in the Annual Estimates presented to the Parliament.
