Two cousins yesterday found themselves in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on charges of attacking each other and one of them answered a separate charge for allegedly assaulting his grandmother. Ronald Young, 26, of 29 East La Penitence, denied assaulting his cousin, Daniel Young, on July 16.
Daniel, also 26, who resides in a different building at the same address, also denied using threatening language and threatening behaviour towards Ronald.
Additionally, Daniel was arraigned on charges of assaulting and using threatening language to his grandmother, Ina Young, to which he also pleaded not guilty.
No facts of what transpired on the day in question were presented to the court.
Magistrate Ann McLennan placed Daniel on $7,500 bail while Ronald was placed on $5,000 bail and the matters were transferred to Court 10 for July 29.
