WELLINGTON, New Zealand, CMC-West Indies women will face the New Zealand Ferns in three One Day Internationals (ODI) before engaging New Zealand and England in a Tri-Series Twenty20 competition in October.
The Ferns have named a 14 player squad for the tour, with the team set to arrive in Jamaica October 1.
New Zealand will play a warm-up match October 4, before facing the West Indies in the first ODI two days later.
West Indies and New Zealand will meet in their first Tri-Series match October 14.
New Zealand All-rounder Kate Broadmore has made herself unavailable for the tour due to university commitments.
“The Caribbean tour is a great opportunity for us in both formats and we’re confident we can be successful in both,” said White Ferns Coach Katrina Keenan.
“I’m very confident in the players we’ve picked and believe that there is a good balance of skills, youth and experience”.
