Colts Basketball Club pipped Dyna Ravens by a 69-67 score line as action in the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) Tier 1 Playoffs First Division Final concluded at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Mandela Avenue on Sunday.
Dave Causway and Shelroy Thomas led the Colts’ offence as they netted 17 and 14 points respectively. Akeem Kanhai and Ryan Gullen netted 15 and 12 points correspondingly in a losing effort.
In the third division final, Trinity Grid Holdings (TGH) Pacesetters defeated Buxton Heat by a 70-61 margin. Ruel Ritch and Reyon Cummings scored 15 and 14 points respectively for THG Pacesetters.
Kevin Dey netted a game high 18 points while Antiola Williams contributed 16 points for the losing East Coast side.
Dominique Douglas netted 27 points as Kwakwani defeated West Side Jammers 71-63 in their exhibition encounter. He was ably assisted by Elvin Thompson who scored 18 points. Ralf Brown led West Side Jammers with 22 points while Samuel Hollingsworth scored 14 points.
