Dear Editor,
That there is a dire need for a fully professionally staffed investment bank in Guyana, cannot be disputed. It is a crying shame, perhaps even criminal, that young authentic enterprising entrepreneurs cannot find the type of financing to greatly help with their ventures.
This area will play an important and substantial role in pushing further and faster the economic development of the country. It must be noted that China has adopted a very aggressive drive in extending massive amounts of funding for various projects, and my appeal goes out for urgent consideration of the establishment of an investment bank. There are very good reasons for China to consider favourably such a proposal. Only good will eventuate from this for the people of this country.
Yours faithfully,
