A new concept in shopping is set to debut on August 11 at the Pegasus Hotel, touted as a a one-of-a-kind shopping cocktail party.
‘Wine, Dine and Shop in a Dress, Sex in the City Style’, according to a press release, will fuse the sweet satisfaction of shopping with the relaxing atmosphere of a cocktail party. It was conceptualised by CEO of Posh Boutique and Posh Prestige, Tamika De Souza, who has attended similar events in Canada.
Tickets, which will offer inclusive access to the the event, cost $5,000, and can be purchased from Posh Boutique, Pink Memo Boutique, Ego Boutique, Rainbow Fashion, Studio Fix Hair Salon and Antonio’s Bar & Grill. Attendees will be treated to hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary glass of wine from the Pegasus Hotel.
The organiser promises that the event will avail attendees the opportunity the browse the classiest merchandise from some of Guyana’s trendiest stores. Posh Boutique, Pink Memo, Ego Boutique, Rainbow Fashions, ShaSha Designs, Wendez and several other boutiques and designers will be in attendance offering several items on sale. Shoes and jewellery will also be on display by Pieces and Things and Krystal’s Kouture.
Posh Prestige also promises that other specialty goods and services will be available for attendees to enjoy; including makeup services, which will be provided by Bromeliad.Rnc – Renee Chester Thompson, and salon services by Jessica Does My hair.
For those whose imagination soar above that which is considerd conventional, bedroom novelty toys, which will be made available by Bedroom Khandi, will be there for you to peruse. All of the goods and services which will be made available with exclusive deals, the release said, and all sales and promotions will only be redeemable at the event.
The first 25 ladies to arrive at the event will receive a free ‘Swag Bag’ filled of gifts, coupons and other prizes, all compliments of Posh Boutique.
The dress code is “Carrie Chic” and great music will be played so as to set the atmosphere just right.
