I live in the USA and I do go home every year to Middle Street, Vryheid’s Lust, ECD. Much to my surprise, when I returned last week there is a huge building under construction right next to my house. Now this area is not designed for any type of construction. There is loud noise from 8am to 6 pm every day of the week. I have tried to reach the revelant authorities for help, and no one seems to care. Finally I went to see the Regional Chairman who in my presence called the local authority and asked who gave this man permission to build this place. No one had any answer for him, and he promised to look in to it. He went there saw the place, spoke with the owner and then left without doing anything. I am asking someone to go there and look at this place and tell me if it fair to the residents who live there. There are children and senior citizens living in that street.
