Investigations are being conducted by the police into a fatal accident that occurred at about 1230h. today at Bath Settlement Public Road, WCB, and which resulted in the death of fireman, Linden Mc Calmon and injuries to Keith Bond, 56 years, of Grove, EBD.
Investigations have revealed that the two men were occupants in a motor car, when the driver lost control and crashed into a utility pole. They suffered injuries and were taken to the Fort Wellington Hospital where Mc Calmon was pronounced DOA and Bond referred to the GPHC.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations. Police said.
