A bulletin was yesterday issued by police for Richard Lord who is wanted for questioning into the murder of two of his children and the wounding of his wife.
Five-year-old Kimberly Houston and her two-year-old brother Ahmad Lord were laid to rest on Saturday in their Zeelugt community after their father reportedly attacked them and their mother Nazalena Natasha Houston at their Zeelugt home last Wednesday.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Lord is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 226-6978, 268-2298, 268-2222, 911 or the nearest police station, the police said today in a statement.
All information will be treated in strict confidence, police said.
.Houston, who was severely chopped, was discharged from the hospital yesterday, relatives said.
Relatives also told Stabroek News that on the night of the attack, several articles of clothing that belonged to Lord were removed from the home and they have a feeling that he was responsible. “Since the night when this thing happen when we go back to the house we see he clothes, boots and this pontoon rope he used to use missing. Like he go back to the house when everybody went at the front house,” Houston’s brother in law said.
Houston, the lone survivor of the brutal attack, lost her right hand and all of her fingers on her left hand were chopped off while the post-mortem examination conducted on her children by State Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh last Friday, determined the cause of death as multiple incised wounds.
