(Trinidad Express) The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre has recorded a magnitude 4.1 earthquake off Trinidad’s north west peninsular.
In a statement issued by the SRC, the quake was recorded as happening at 10:56am local time, North of Paria Peninsula.
According to the SRC “The event was located at 10.75°N 62.13°W. The magnitude was 4.1 and depth 54km. This event has been reported to be felt in north west Trinidad. Please note that these results are preliminary and may vary slightly when additional data is processed.
No damage or injury has been reported.
