A teenager was on Friday remanded to prison after being arraigned on larceny and narcotic-possession charges.
The 16-year-old denied that on July 25 at Georgetown he stole a BlackBerry cell phone, valued $50,000, from the person of Kimberley Karim.
He also denied that on August 7, at Georgetown he had in his position 1.7 grammes of cannabis.
The matter was held in camera, (to the exclusion of the public) because the defendant is a juvenile.
