The Ministry of Education last Tuesday opened bids for the reprinting of local texts to be distributed to school throughout the country.
Under its National Book Distribution programme the bids were divided into three lots with black and white and coloured listed as specifications. The table below lists the companies and their respective bids.
A re-tender of bids for the construction of an Asphaltic Road in Lethem saw a lone tender from Vickanand Dalip Enterprise to the tune of $25,917,200 while the Engineer’s Estimate was pegged at $26M.
With the procuring entity being Region 9’s Regional Democratic Council, upgrading of the Massara Access Road received two bids. The engineer’s estimate was given as $14,942,000.
Meanwhile the Maritime Administration Department (MARAD) received bids for a series of works.
