Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) yesterday announced that the water supply to nine West Bank Demerara areas will be disrupted for five days next week to facilitate urgent maintenance at the L’oratoire Well Station.
GWI said its service to Recht Door Zee, Onderneeming, West Minister, Parfaite Harmonie, Schoonord, Canal #1, Bagotsville, Nismes, and La Grange, West Bank Demerara, would be disrupted from August 26 to August 30.
It urged customers who will be affected to make preparations, including storing water, in light of the planned maintenance.
