Bids were yesterday placed for government security projects which also saw tenders from legally embattled firm Strategic Action Security.
The bids were opened yesterday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) located in the Ministry of Finance compound. Following the fixing of the national minimum wage at $35,000 per month and a five-day work week, RKs Security Services had withdrawn from some government security contracts. Contracts were then retendered to take account of the new working conditions.
For the provision of security services throughout Regions 2,3,5,6 and 10.
Bids were also opened for the construction of Track X at Carbese Hill in Bartica.
