(Jamaica Gleaner) Jamaica’s global sprint legend Usain Bolt dismantled his rivals to win the Men’s 100 metres at the season ending Diamond League meeting in Brussels, Belgium today.
Bolt, the world’s fastest man, powered home in 9.80 seconds, well clear of American Michael Rodgers who clocked a season-best 9.90 for second place.
Moscow World Championships bronze medallist Nesta Carter of Jamaica finished third in 9.94.
American Justin Gatlin, was also credited with a 9.94 clocking, but finished fourth.
Kemar Bailey-Cole, the other Jamaican in the field, clocked 9.98 for fifth place.
