St Ann’s Primary

St Ann’s Primary was the recipient of a quantity of textbooks yesterday, compliments of Sol Guyana. According to a press release from Sol, the donation was made in support of the Ministry of Education’s ‘Give a Book’ and ‘Drop Everything and Read’ campaigns mounted yesterday as part of the observance of Education Month. Sol Guyana General Manager Orlando Boxill, who made the donation to the school, also took the time to sit and read to some of the pupils from Dr Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat. In photo, Boxill (seated right) reads to the pupils in the school’s library, which was refurbished by Sol a year ago.
