Sherwyn Green defeated Sudesh Fitzgerald as the men’s Open darts singles competition continued on Friday at the Malteenoes Sports Club.
The two players emerged top of the six-man league competition which saw each player playing each other twice.
Green and Fitzgerald ended with nine wins losing once only to each other and thereby played a tiebreaker which was won by Green 3-2.
In the luck of the draw league, the pair of Nicholas Seetaram and Green came out champs with three wins.
