The Guyana Police Force today said it wished to clarify that contrary to reports circulating in some sections of the media, there was no armed attack on any Police Station, nor was any police rank shot and killed during last night.
“The Guyana Police Force is urging media operatives to be professional and seek confirmation of such news reports from the police, rather than putting out unsubstantiated newscasts that may lead to panic and fear in the society”, the police said in the release.
